About Us
Supporting Children & Families with Compassionate, Evidence-Based Care
Hidayat Shah
Founder & Clinical Director
I am a Pediatric Clinical Therapist with a master’s degree and specialized training in child and adolescent mental health.
My professional background includes extensive experience working with children and young adults, from toddlers to those in their early twenties, across a variety of settings such as private practices, hospitals, clinics, and schools.
Training & Clinical Experience
My training included clinical field placements where I conducted comprehensive assessments and provided therapeutic support in both community mental health settings, and specialized hospital units for pediatric and intellectual disabilities. Following my graduate education, I completed additional training in clinical practice, developing advanced skills in assessment, intervention, and family collaboration.
Areas of Support
In my role, I support children experiencing challenges such as anxiety, anger, academic difficulties, ADHD, and autism. I emphasize early intervention and tailor my approach to each child’s unique strengths and needs. My work is grounded in evidence-based practices, with a focus on building executive functioning skills—like planning, organization, and attention—through play-based and hands-on activities.
Therapeutic Approach
A key aspect of my therapeutic approach is engaging parents as active partners. I prioritize clear communication, providing parents with regular updates and practical strategies to reinforce progress at home. My goal is to foster a supportive environment where children can develop confidence and essential life skills, and families feel empowered to support their child’s growth both inside and outside the therapy room.
